Years and years ago when I signed up for Myspace I chose the name Frequent Flyer... the funny thing about this is, I had never actually flown on a plane... I guess it was subliminal-aspirational thinking.
When I chose a logo for my laptop, the one I write and DJ on, I once again chose the logo of a plane... The Santa Monica Airlines plane that sat atop my first skateboard...

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

About 3 years ago my friend played me what would be the first demos of a band called Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros... from the first notes of a song with no vocals on it, I knew something special was in the works...

LA comes to NY

My friends from LA came to town this week... it was kinda weird as I'm accustomed to being taken all around their town. I guess it wasn't so different... Tal was, as always, the "Little Boss" and somehow still managed to drag Bobby Hundreds and I around my home turf, haha...

This week I stopped by my friend Dan's office for a meeting... when I got there I wanted to take off my shoes an walk around barefoot. The whole office is covered in grass... it's a serious think tank over there. I didn't want to leave.
