Anyway, just wondering, why can’t you play whatever you want whenever you want and anywhere you want? You would think people would have fun as long as it’s music and it’s something they can move to. Heck, even a polka night would be cool. Haha. I just thought that living in NY, you’d get people asking you to play not just in the clubs, but at parties too. Like theme parties. I can bet that there are many theme parties out there looking for a great DJ to play music fit for the theme. Ya know? That way, you could play any kind of music that you wanted. Do you need an agent? I’m kidding!

Kidding about the polka too. But hey, you never know. Some people like that. Just have to respect music altogether. Music is music is music is…and it’s the best. I’m glad it was invented. =D

I always wanted to learn how to swing dance. I love older stuff, from times that I wasn’t alive during to experience. My friend and I found a class now I just have to save money to take it but I’m doing it. Even though I’ll most likely never find anyone to dance with or anywhere to dance at I am doing it, just to say “I know how to swing dance.”

So do it. Set up a night where you can DJ and play doo wap, even if you have to enlist your famous brothers and soon-to-be-sister-in-law’s help (please tell me you caught my subtle snub) to make your dreams come true.

Family is the best thing you’ve got and I think you’ve got a swell one. I laugh at the people who think you use your brother’s fame, as if you weren’t one of the people that helped them get there or support them or anything.

You’ve done a lot of things you’ve wanted to Josh – you don’t need our encouragement or our permission (but I know it helps, so here it is) to go after another one. Do what you do boy, everything you do is golden.

Hmmm Arasto…someone is a little jealous. I will say this though. Yes, Josh being Joels brother is what got me to this blog site in the first place. However, Josh being the interesting mind that he is, is what keeps me coming back. Now when I read his blogs..I don’t even think about who’s brother he is. He is simply….Josh!

I’m complimented that anyone would take their time to look at or think about anything I’ve written.
I take pictures and write because I like to. I started my time at the University I attended as an Art Major and in my Freshman year, showed work along side the work of Seniors. I’ve studied art at various levels but I changed my major eventually and years later it means nothing… except it does… I love and appreciate art, I always have.
If you like to go on the internet and write your opinions, then that is what you like and I’m sincerely glad you’ve found something you like to do. You’d probably rather be enjoying working on your art though, because I’m guessing your an artist, an upset one from what I can tell… hope things get better.
People probably come to this site for a lot of reasons, by the way my other brother is Benj… please don’t forget Benj when you rant.

Great response. This is exactly why I read your blog. I’m sure you hear this so much, but you truly are an inspiration. You’re real. You see inspiration in so many things, and I believe, that is what art is. People see art/inspiration in many things and I don’t think they should be discouraged into thinking that the things they see as art are anything but.

I believe that art is art and there are many forms of it. I can see a quirky tree, take a picture of it and find art in it, while others may not see what I see. My point is that we all see things differently and some of the things that we see, may inspire us all differently.

I’ve said this before, but you truly are unparalleled (unique) and you don’t see that in many people, and in my opinion, that in itself IS INDEED NOVELl! =)

The boots are very interesting! I confess I don’t exactly love musicals but I will sit and watch just to see if maybe I WILL like it. lol I actually Do like the DOO WHOP stuff..in moderation. Just last week I sat down to find a movie and I clicked on the Sweeny Todd movie but it was the original version not the one with Johnny Depp. But I sat and watched it a few. I won’t say I liked it..but I didn’t change the channel right away either. lol As always you have some interesting blogs. And I love reading your blogs not just because your Joel and Benji’s brother either!!!
